Karen is a 22 year old Political Science major who finds happiness in drinking a mug of hot chocolate in the morning, watching adrenaline filled action films after a stressful week, listening to The Beatles on lazy Sunday mornings, reading all her required readings in her little nerd niche in the library, having long conversations and debates about the silliest thing with her closest friends while sipping her 20 peso nai cha bought at the SOM mall. (And oh, if you have not noticed yet, she has a penchant for indulging in very long sentences). She is not a very brave person. In fact, she has been a coward all her life. She is afraid of the littlest things: of rats that look like cats, of long dark hallways, of getting a C+ in any of her PolSci subjects, of flying cockroaches, of PIPAC and Schmitt (especially at night), of having her slippers fall while riding “backseat” at a speeding trike, of getting called to answer a math equation in front of the whole class. | ||||||
